About The Job:

• Experience: 10–12 Years
• Shift Timings: IST Regular Hours
• We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, Oracle Database, and enterprise application development.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, reviewing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications while mentoring team members and driving engineering best practices across the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Perform regular code reviews and enforce industry-standard coding practices and development standards.
• Design and develop scalable RESTful microservices and service-oriented applications.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and convert them into optimized technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and roadmap planning activities.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support application deployment and production releases.
• Coordinate with globally distributed teams on requirements, enhancements, defect resolution, and technical design discussions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development team members.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and engineering best practices within the organization.
• Develop systems aligned with Agile methodologies and Service-Oriented Architecture principles.
• Work with Oracle databases for application development, performance tuning, and data management.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with external software vendors and technology partners for integrations and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.

Qualifications:
Primary Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 (JDK 17).
• Strong experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with Spring Data JPA / Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database.
• Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL scripting.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software development experience using Java.
• At least 2 years of experience developing Web Services using REST or SOAP.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • JEE
  • Spring Framework
  • Spring Boot
  • Hibernate
• Experience building Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and RESTful Microservices.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Java Multithreading
  • Concurrency
  • Memory Management
• Experience with front-end technologies such as:
  • JSP
  • JSTL
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
• Experience writing Unit Tests and Integration Tests.
• Experience working with web and application servers such as Apache Tomcat.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes including:
  • Source Control
  • Requirements Analysis
  • Design Reviews
  • Debugging
  • System Testing
  • Performance Testing
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Financial Services domain.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
• Exposure to cloud, containerization, or DevOps practices will be an advantage.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
