Job Description
We are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development & Sales professional with 5+
\nyears of industry experience. The ideal candidate will bridge strategic BD and frontline sales —
\nbuilding the specifier and influencer ecosystem while owning the direct sales cycle. They will
\nexpand Spectra’s enterprise footprint, grow channel partnerships, and serve as a confident face of the brand in front of CXOs and decision-makers.
\nCTC – Competitive; commensurate with experience. Salary will not be a constraint for the right
\nresource.

\nJob Role
\nSales & Channel Development
\n• Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, solution pitch, negotiations, closure, and
\nhandover to account management.
\n• Introduce Spectra’s solutions to new prospects through networking, cold calls, referrals, and
\ntargeted sales campaigns.
\n• Build and grow the channel partner ecosystem — appoint new dealers/SIs/distributors, enable
\ncross- selling, and support partner-led revenue.
\n• Conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and C-suite presentations; manage BOQ/BOM
\nand bidding support for channel partners.
\n• Maintain accurate proposals, pipeline documentation, and ensure disciplined lead-cycle
\nmanagement.
\nStrategic Business Development & Specifier Engagement
\n• Engage the influencer community: Architects, Builders, ELV/Electrical teams, EPC &
\nConstruction firms, MEP Consultants, PMCs, Design & Build firms, and Security Consultants.
\n• Identify, develop, and nurture ABC category business partners; provide ongoing technical
\nand commercial support.
\n• Drive tender specifications for large projects; position Spectra as the preferred make and
\nconvert specs into qualified leads.
\n• Build a healthy project funnel in assigned verticals; present technical and commercial solutions to all relevant stakeholders.
\n• Develop region-specific business plans for strategic technology and channel partners; gather
\nand report competitor intelligence.
\nKey Account & Enterprise Development
\n• Expand Spectra’s footprint in enterprise accounts not yet engaged; act as the “Voice of
\nSpectra” before CXOs and senior decision-makers.
\n• Understand key account business priorities in Physical Security & Workforce Management; build long- term relationships through direct and indirect touch.
\n• Organize end-user seminars, awareness briefings, and face-to-face presentations to
\nreinforce Spectra’s role as a Trusted Partner.
\n• Attend industry tradeshows and events; pursue speaking and presentation opportunities to
\nstrengthen brand presence.
\nReporting & Market Intelligence
\n• Provide timely monthly reports on pipeline, activities, and regional progress.
\n• Collaborate with Marketing on whitepapers, brochures, webinars, exhibitions, and lead
\nnurturing campaigns.
\n• Stay updated on product developments, market trends, and competitive activity; support local
\nand national marketing initiatives.
\nRequired Skills
\n• 5-8 years in Sales / BD representing OEMs in ELV, CCTV, BMS, Physical Security, IT,
\nHRMS, ERP, CRM software or any other technology industries, preferably serving enterprise,
\nbuilding, or construction clients.
\n• Demonstrated ability to manage direct and channel sales cycles from prospecting to closure.
\n• Strong existing network with specifiers, system integrators, consultants, and corporate
\ndecision- makers.
\n• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; public speaking ability in English
\nand the local language.
\n• Technical education preferred: MBA + BCA / B.Sc. IT / MCA / BE (EC/CS) .
\n• IP networking knowledge and understanding of access control / security technologies is a
\nstrong advantage.
\n• Self-managed, disciplined with time, priorities, and field expenses.
