Years of Experience - 8 to 10 in Exports of BioPharma and/or Pharma Equipment's, Skid-mounted Systems & Processing Plants

Job Profile Overview:

\n

The International Business Development Manager is tasked with driving the growth and expansion of our pharmaceutical equipment and system solutions in global markets. This includes identifying new opportunities, creating strategic partnerships, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. The role requires a strong understanding of international markets and the ability to navigate diverse cultural and regulatory environments.

Education Qualification:

\n

Should be a Decisive-&-Pro-active Strategist with a Pleasing Personality and with some degree of Process knowledge of Biopharma / Pharma Process Equipment's, Skid-designs & International Regulatory requirements. A comprehensive knowledge of the Names of the Manufacturers of the BioPharma Industry --- their Locations, their Product ranges, the names of their respective Decision Makers for Capital Expenditures and their Product Diversification and/or Production Expansion Plans (in other words the BioPharma Business Intelligence) is essential. Should have the capability of preparing a robust-&-sustainable Export Business Development Plan with a typical horizon of 5-8 years that is in sync with the Organisation's goals of Growth and Gains. Prior knowledge of and/or Networking with Resident-&-established Distributors in specific Markets (like say the 'Americas') is essential. Participation in and/or Organising Road Shows / Trade Exhibitions in the Overseas Market is preferred and desirable.

  1. Should be an Astute Planner who would have a 360 degree Overseas Business Plan to sync the Organizational needs with the Market Opportunities-&-Challenges AND have an incisive knowledge of the Overseas Business/Project-Drivers of the Market for the Organization.

  3. Should be Persuasive enough to consistently log a high % of Call-Conversion to Export-Invoicing, to Negotiate Profitable Export figures, to promptly Close 'Win-Win' Deals AND to Attend to International Customer Grievances equitably.

  5. Should be pro-actively Accountable to consistently meet Pre-Planned Annual Export Growth AND Annual Profit Margins.
  6. \n
  7. Should have a high Customer focus for Fostering a robust Brand Loyalty, Increasing the Customer-base, Sustaining a mutually rewarding Customer Relationship and Relentlessly maintaining the Organization's Technical and Economic competitiveness.

Should have a robust Dependability to be able to excel in a fast-paced changing Business environment, to be able to objectively Self-assess his Customer Profitability (respective Customer generated Profit Margins-to-Cost of Customer Relationship) AND to consistently increase on the Organization's existing International Customer Base.

  11. Should be an Effective Team Player who would have the ability to ferret out the causes/reasons for Win-Loss of Projects and would thereafter be able to engage in fruitful analyses with his Technical Sales Support Team to either build-on-the-gains OR course correct.

  13. Should be Cost Conscious and be constantly on the lookout for Cost Optimization to both the Customer and the Organization AND to never shy away from Following up on overdue Payments from Customers post the successful commissioning of the Project.

  15. Should be Savvy in Social Networking in order to be able to Organise and Represent the Organization in targetted International Networking Events, Fairs & Exhibitions.

  17. Should possess the Ability to be Innovative and to 'think on his feet' in order to offer solutions to the Customers that would be mutually rewarding.

  19. Should be Ready to Travel either on Planned Tours OR impromptu exigencies and/or to Attend to Customer calls on-line in sync with differing Time Zones.

  1. Brand Creation - Number of Customers retained for Repeat Orders, Number of New Customers added to existing List, Consistently increasing Customer Profitability (% wise) AND Ease-&-Promptness in addressing Customer queries/grievances.

  3. Revenue Growth - Consistently meeting the pre-determined Export Targets (Value & % Growth wise) AND in Registering a high % of Opportunities Converted (Number of International Customer Calls to Export Orders Generated).
  4. \n
  5. Planning & Execution - Registering a high % of realization of Forecasted Annual Exports-to-Annual Exports Achieved.
  6. \n
