Job Description
Role Overview:
\nWe are looking for a professional with 3–5 years of experience in AIF Operations to manage end-to-end operational activities for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) based out of GIFT City. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of fund operations, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Fund Accounting: Manage the day-to-day fund accounting operations, including NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations. Monitor fund expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary targets. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard fund assets and prevent fraud or misappropriation. \n
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay abreast of regulatory developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including AIFMD, IFSCA, SEC regulations, and local regulatory requirements. Coordinate regulatory filings and disclosures, such as Form PF, Form ADV, and AIF annual reports. .Liaise with regulatory authorities and external legal counsel on compliance matters as necessary. \n
- Client Onboarding & Investor Relations Support : Serve as a primary point of contact for investor onboarding in coordination with Compliance and Sales Team, inquiries related to fund performance, financial reporting, and capital transactions. Facilitate investor due diligence requests and provide support during fundraising efforts. \n
- Financial Reporting: Coordinate with External Auditors and Tax advisors for the annual audit and tax compliance processes. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to investors, including quarterly performance updates, financial statements, and capital account statements. \n
- Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support investment decision-making and portfolio management activities. Assist in the preparation of fund budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within the fund accounting function. \n
Education:

- CA (preferred) / MBA Finance / Commerce Graduation \n
Experience & Other Requirements:
\n- \n
- Extensive experience (typically 4-5 years) in AIF Operations, Fund accounting, Financial Reporting within the Hedge Funds/Private Equity/Real Estate /Alternative Investment Industry. \n
- Strong understanding of fund structures, investment instruments, carry computations and accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS). \n
- Proficiency in fund accounting software and financial reporting systems (Wealth Spectrum and similar tools) \n
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks applicable to AIFs. \n
