Senior Executive - Technology Transfer

Job Purpose:

Tech Transfer is responsible for supporting feasibility studies, pilot scale trials, and documentation required for smooth and compliant technology transfer from lab to plant.

Strategic

\n
• Support feasibility and scale-up activities under guidance to ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
\n
• Contribute to new process documentation and compliance as per regulatory and internal quality standards.
\n
• Stay informed on basic industry technology trends relevant to tech transfer.
\n

Operational

\n
• Execute assigned experimental procedures and sampling for lab/pilot batches.
\n
• Collect, compile, and record process data as per guidelines.
\n
• Assist in reviewing and updating process documentation (BMR, PDR, etc.).
\n
• Support demo runs, validation trials, and shop-floor observations.
\n
• Coordinate with QA, QC, PRD, and production for sample movement, documentation, and process support.
\n
• Maintain process documents, logs, and experimental records.
\n
• Participate in troubleshooting and process improvement discussions.
\n
• Assist in timely closure of CAPAs, deviations, and change controls related to tech transfer.
\n
• Follow ESG policies and ensure compliance in daily operations.
\n

Financial

• Assist in monitoring consumption of materials during pilot and trial batches to avoid wastage.
\n

People

• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments effectively.
\n
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and training.
\n
• Maintain discipline, ownership, and accountability during trials and documentation.
\n

Experience : 5-7 years of relevant experience in process development or technology transfer.

Qualification : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent field.

Industry : Pharmaceutical / Fine Chemicals / CDMO / API
