Wise Monkey Rum is looking for a confident and proactive Public Relations Officer to join our team in Chennai.

This role is ideal for someone who can help build and maintain the brand’s public image, manage communication with media and external partners, and support brand visibility across relevant platforms and events.

Important: Wise Monkey Rum is a liquor/alcohol/spirits company. Only candidates who are comfortable working with an alcohol brand should apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, agencies, vendors, and external partners
\n
• Support PR campaigns, brand launches, events, and promotional activities
\n
• Draft press releases, brand communication, media notes, and official announcements
\n
• Coordinate with media houses, digital platforms, and relevant stakeholders
\n
• Help improve brand awareness and public perception
\n
• Track PR opportunities, media coverage, and competitor activity
\n
• Work closely with marketing, design, sales, and management teams
\n
• Assist in planning and executing brand visibility activities in Chennai
\n
• Handle communication professionally on behalf of the company when required
\n

Requirements:

• Prior experience in public relations, communications, media, marketing, or brand management preferred
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Confident personality with good networking and coordination skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple people, agencies, and tasks professionally
\n
• Good understanding of media, social media, and brand positioning
\n
• Must be comfortable working for a liquor/alcohol/spirits company
\n
• Candidates based in Chennai preferred
\n

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
