About the Role

We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI.
\n The Senior Program Manager will serve as the strategic and operational lead for programs implemented in Bhubaneswar. The role involves overseeing end-to-end program planning, implementation, stakeholder engagement, team management, monitoring, reporting, and ecosystem development. The individual will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s presence in the city, building partnerships with government and private stakeholders, and ensuring impactful youth outcomes through effective execution and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

\n
\n

• Lead the planning and execution of all program activities in Bhubaneswar & Cuttack.
\n • Develop implementation plans, timelines, and operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and Theory of Change (TOC).
\n • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of program outcomes.
\n • Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
\n • Ensure effective utilization of program resources and budgets.
\n • Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, CSR partners, NGOs, employers, skilling agencies, SSC’s, Industry Associations and ecosystem stakeholders.
\n • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to strengthen program impact and outreach.
\n • Represent the organization at city-level forums, meetings, and external engagements.
\n • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution.
\n • Manage and mentor program teams to ensure effective performance and collaboration.
\n • Conduct regular review meetings and provide guidance to team members.
\n • Identify skill gaps and facilitate training and capacity-building initiatives.
\n • Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
\n • Track program progress against targets and outcomes.
\n • Develop and maintain monitoring systems and dashboards.
\n • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
\n • Ensure timely documentation of success stories, challenges, and learnings.
\n • Support data analysis and impact assessment initiatives.
\n • Strengthen outreach and engagement efforts with youth and community stakeholders.
\n • Support youth mobilization and participation initiatives.
\n • Promote youth leadership, employability, entrepreneurship, and livelihood opportunities.
\n • Ensure programs are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to community needs.
\n • Contribute to strategic planning and program development initiatives.
\n • Support expansion opportunities and innovation within the program ecosystem.
\n • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and reporting standards.
\n • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, finance, operations, and communications.

Your Profile

\n
\n

• Post Graduation in Social Work, Social Sciences, Management, Development Studies, or related field.
\n • 7–10 years of relevant experience in program management, preferably in livelihood, youth development, skilling, or community development sectors.
\n • Experience working with government stakeholders, CSR partners, and ecosystem networks.
\n • Experience in managing teams, partnerships, and multi-stakeholder programs.
\n • Strong project management and people management skills.
\n • Excellent relationship-building, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
\n • Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills.
\n • Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
\n • Good proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office.
\n • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Odia will be an added advantage.
\n • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
