Job Summary:

\n

The candidate for this position should have experience acquiring and handling Jaipur based, mid-size as well as high volume customers - be they consignees or shippers. He/she should have experience in developing & leading a team of goal-oriented executives.

Core Responsibilities

    \n
  • Oversees daily operations, staff performance, and financial goals for a specific location, primarily focusing on driving sales, ensuring high-quality customer service, and enforcing company policies.
  • \n
  • Maintain and grow a self-driven book of business.
  • \n
  • Help team successfully get business from new and existing customer accounts.
  • \n
  • Explore business opportunities and generate sales leads from shippers, forwarders & CHAs effectively.
  • \n
  • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives. Co-ordinate with Customer Service desk, Operations and Documentation department for complete follow-up on shipments generated.
  • \n
  • Help the team build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
  • \n
  • Analyse market trends and implement effective measures for penetrating business.
  • \n
  • Facilitate prompt preparation & submission of quotation/RFQ to customers.
  • \n
  • Ensure submission of sales/division reports to reporting head at regular intervals.
  • \n
  • Facilitate timely follow-up on collections from customers.
  • \n
  • Conduct regular review meetings with the team and enhance performance.
  • \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • \n
  • 8–15 years of proven experience in freight forwarding sales
  • \n
  • Hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of CRM systems
  • \n
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
  • \n
