The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Vice President – Design & Product Development to lead our design and product development function across all product categories.

This role combines creative leadership with commercial acumen, ensuring that our collections anticipate market trends, delight customers and translate into profitable business opportunities.

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team of designers and product developers, building a culture of creativity, speed, collaboration and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

· Define and lead the company's design and product development strategy.

· Build commercially successful collections aligned with customer needs and emerging global trends.

· Drive innovation across materials, techniques, trims, embellishments and product construction.

· Strengthen customer relationships by presenting compelling seasonal concepts and product stories.

· Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept through customer approval and handover to production.

· Develop and mentor high-performing design and product development teams.

· Improve hit rates, speed to market and development efficiency through robust processes and collaboration.

· Work closely with Sales, Operations, Sourcing and Quality to ensure commercially viable and manufacturable products.

· Foster a culture of creativity, accountability and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate

· 15–20+ years of leadership experience in design and product development within fashion accessories, apparel, home textiles or related consumer products.

· Strong understanding of global fashion trends, materials and product innovation.

· Proven experience working with international retailers and brands.

· Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing creative teams.

· Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance creativity, customer needs and profitability.

· Excellent communication, presentation and relationship management skills.

· Passion for mentoring talent and building scalable design capabilities.
