Design & Development Engineer - High Frequency Transformer

Miracle Electronic Devices Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Design & Development Engineer with hands-on experience in designing High Frequency Transformers and Magnetics from concept to production.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently developing transformer designs based on customer specifications, performing design calculations, building prototypes, validating performance, and supporting manufacturing during production ramp-up.

• Design High Frequency Transformers, Inductors, Chokes and Magnetic Components from scratch based on customer requirements.
\n
• Perform magnetic design calculations including core selection, turns ratio, wire selection, current density, temperature rise and efficiency optimization.
\n
• Develop transformer designs for applications such as:
\n
• EV Chargers
\n
• Solar Inverters
\n
• Telecom Power Supplies
\n
• Medical Equipment
\n
• Industrial Power Electronics
\n
• Create design documentation, winding specifications, manufacturing instructions and BOMs.
\n
• Build and evaluate prototypes, analyze test results and optimize designs.
\n
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during product development and production.
\n
• Work closely with customers, production teams and quality teams to ensure successful product realization.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement in product performance, manufacturability and reliability.
\n

• Strong understanding of High Frequency Transformer Design.
\n
• Experience working with ferrite cores such as EE, ETD, EER, PQ, RM and Planar structures.
\n
• Knowledge of:

• Core Losses
\n
• Copper Losses
\n
• Leakage Inductance
\n
• Isolation Requirements
\n
• Thermal Design
\n
• EMI Considerations
\n
• Ability to convert electrical specifications into practical transformer designs.
\n
• Hands-on approach towards prototype development and validation.
\n
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
\n

BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics or related fields.

3–10 Years

Candidates with proven experience in designing High Frequency Transformers and Magnetics for power electronics applications will be preferred.
