Summary:

Develop integrations using IBM DataPower (MPGW, XML Firewall, API Gateway) and ACE (message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute). Build secure connections for internal apps and third-party partners (REST, SOAP, MQ, SFTP). Maintain platforms by applying patches, performing upgrades, monitoring health, and optimizing performance. Manage TLS certificate lifecycle, including CSRs, imports, renewals, and deployment across environments. Implement security policies such as mTLS, OAuth/JWT, rate limiting, schema validation, and threat protection. Automate deployments via CI/CD and manage configuration bundles and BAR files. Troubleshoot issues using logs/traces to ensure SLA compliance and high availability. Document API specs, integration patterns, and operational runbooks.

Responsibilities:

Develop integrations using IBM DataPower and ACE.
Build secure connections for internal apps and third-party partners.
Maintain and optimize platform performance.
Manage TLS certificate lifecycle.
Implement security policies.
Automate deployments and manage configuration bundles.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure SLA compliance.
Document API specifications and integration patterns.

Requirements:

5 years in IT operations, incident management, or SRE roles.
Experience with IBM MQ, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Git, DevSecOps, and scripting (Python/Bash).
Experience with serverless API architectures using EventBridge, step functions, lambdas, CDK/terraform/cloud formation (IaC) using Python.
Ability to assess existing on-premises DataPower and ACE workloads and define technical strategies for migration, modernization, or replacement on the AWS cloud.
Experience in deploying and configuring DataPower/ACE Virtual or Container Editions in a Docker/Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS environment.
Strong facilitation and communication skills under pressure.
Deep understanding of ITIL incident/problem/change processes.
Experience with ServiceNow Major Incident Management and Notify integrations.
Ability to interpret telemetry and observability data (e.g., OpenTelemetry, synthetic monitoring).
