About the Role
HTC Global Services is seeking a motivated Data Engineer with strong SQL and SSIS expertise to design, develop, and optimize data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SQL Server, ETL processes, and database optimization, along with exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Support production deployments and resolve data-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering or SQL Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and SQL Server.
• Experience developing ETL solutions using SSIS.
• Basic knowledge of Databricks.
• Experience creating and optimizing stored procedures.
• Strong understanding of SQL query tuning and database performance optimization.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Alteryx and/or Tableau.
• Exposure to reporting tools and dashboard development.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
