Python Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Python Full Stack Developers who can independently own and deliver features end-to-end in a fast-paced Agile environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend development expertise in Python, API development, and cloud technologies, while being comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and taking ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision.

This role is predominantly backend-focused (approximately 80%), with limited frontend exposure (20%). Candidates with React.js experience will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using Python.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop applications using FastAPI framework (preferred).
• Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for application deployment and integration.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and delivery.
• Take complete ownership of assigned user stories and drive them to closure.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Technical Leads to understand and implement business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues independently.
• Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices for software development.

Required Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills

· Strong proficiency in Python

• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience in FastAPI (preferred) or similar Python frameworks
• Strong experience in API development and integrations
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Good understanding of software design principles and development best practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Good-to-Have Skills

· Experience with React.js

• Exposure to frontend application development
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

AI Exposure Expectations

This role is not focused on AI/ML development. However, candidates should have:

· Basic understanding of AI-enabled applications and integrations.

• Familiarity with consuming AI capabilities through APIs or SDKs.
• Experience interacting with existing AI-powered solutions within enterprise applications.
• No expectation to build AI agents, LLMs, or AI services from scratch.
