Senior Principal Architect - 12+Years of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, resilient distributed systems and data plane services.
• Drive end-to-end feature delivery from requirements through deployment and production support.
• Define and review system architecture, APIs, and data models to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Optimize networking, traffic management, and security capabilities for high-throughput environments.
• Partner across Product, Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive engineering excellence and operational best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems, networking, or platform development.
• Strong expertise in system design, distributed architecture, API design, and database technologies.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, C, or C++ with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
• Proven track record of driving end-to-end delivery of complex technical solutions.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking protocols, and production-scale systems.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, architectural influence, and mentoring capabilities.
• Ownership mindset with a focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with data plane architectures, DPDK, eBPF, or high-performance packet processing.
• Expertise in load balancing, proxying, NAT, tunneling, and network security technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, observability, and distributed tracing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
