Guidewire Claim Center Configuration Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration Developer to design, develop, customize, and support Guidewire ClaimCenter applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Guidewire configuration, Gosu development, business rules, UI customization, workflows, and integration with enterprise applications. The role involves collaborating with business analysts, QA teams, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Guidewire ClaimCenter based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Guidewire configuration components including:
  • PCF (Page Configuration Files)
  • Data Model Extensions
  • Entity Extensions
  • Typelists
  • Product Model configuration (where applicable)
• Develop business rules using Gosu.
• Customize screens, widgets, and user interfaces using PCF.
• Configure Activities, Workflows, Validation Rules, and Assignment Rules.
• Create and maintain Batch Processes.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP web services.
• Configure Messaging and Event-based integrations.
• Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Prepare technical design and configuration documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter architecture.
• Experience with Guidewire Studio and Gosu.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire Certified ClaimCenter Developer.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Guidewire upgrades and cloud migration projects.
