Guidewire Portal Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Portal Developer to design, develop, and maintain customer, agent, and service portals integrated with Guidewire InsuranceSuite. The ideal candidate will have experience with Guidewire Digital applications, Guidewire Jutro, Guidewire Cloud, REST APIs, and modern front-end technologies such as React and TypeScript. The role involves building responsive, user-friendly portal applications and integrating them with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Guidewire Digital Portals using Guidewire Jutro.
• Design and implement customer, agent, and broker portal solutions.
• Integrate portals with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive UI components using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Customize portal workflows, forms, and user journeys.
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, SSO, and OpenID Connect.
• Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, architects, and QA teams.
• Optimize portal performance and accessibility.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 8 years of IT experience.
• 2 5+ years of Guidewire Digital/Portal development experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience integrating Guidewire applications using REST APIs.
• Understanding of responsive web development and UI/UX principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire Digital Developer Certification.
• Experience with Guidewire Jutro Framework.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
