About The Job:
- We need a ServiceNow HAM SME to make sure the HAM work is planned and executed correctly, especially for CMDB data cleanup, and ServiceNow-related decisions.
- The SME will help reduce delivery risk by confirming what is technically possible, what data can be safely updated in CMDB/AMDB, and what should be included in the phased roadmap.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow HAM, CMDB, asset data, and hardware asset lifecycle.
- Help validate the proposed MVP and build a phased implementation plan.
- Ensure the data cleanup approach is safe and does not overwrite correct ServiceNow records.
- Support alignment between the HAM team, CMDB team, and other Orica stakeholders.
Tasks He Will Do
- Review current HAM/CMDB data, Client/Client asset data, and ServiceNow setup.
- Support in performing POC for the MVP.
- Guide data cleanup activities and identify duplicate, outdated, retired, or incorrect asset records.
- Define reporting and dashboard needs for asset visibility, cleanup progress, and lifecycle status.
- Support endpoint hardware analysis for old, retired, EOL, or below-standard devices.
- Provide inputs on the optimized phased delivery plan, resourcing model, risks, and dependencies.
Qualifications:
Skill Set Requirement
- 4+ years of specialist experience in ServiceNow HAM / HAM Pro implementation, configuration, and advisory support.
- Strong functional and technical understanding of hardware asset governance, asset reconciliation, lifecycle controls, and data quality management.
- Expertise in redesigning and optimizing HAM workflows, including process gaps, control points, exceptions, approvals, and automation opportunities.
- Ability to analyze complex asset data issues and recommend practical correction, enrichment, deduplication, and standardization approaches.
- Strong reporting and dashboard capability, including defining KPIs, operational reports, executive dashboards, cleanup trackers, lifecycle views, and exception reports.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, Platform Analytics, CMDB, Discovery, Integration Hub, and data import/update sets is good to have.
- Ability to assess technical feasibility, identify ServiceNow constraints, and provide solution options with risks, dependencies, and delivery impact.
- Good consulting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings in simple business language.

- ServiceNow CIS – Hardware Asset Management (Important).
- CIS – Data Foundation (Optional).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Optional).
