About The Job:

Scope of Services:
- Engineering delivery of centralized capability within Ansible and Harness products.
Essential Job Functions:
- Engineering delivery of centralized capability within Ansible and Harness products.
- Design, implement, and maintain Harness (CI/CD) at enterprise scale, including pipeline-as-code and template management.
- Create and maintain reusable Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Collections.
- Manage enterprise configurations using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Ansible Core.
- Administer inventory management, execution environments, and RBAC for centralized Ansible instances.
- Deliver, scale, and maintain CI/CD and automation platforms as shared services for multiple engineering teams.
- Gather developer requirements and maintain internal platform documentation following a Platform-as-a-Product approach.
- Support containerized execution environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement security controls including secrets management, RBAC, and compliance scanning within CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate Harness and Ansible with enterprise platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, GitLab, and monitoring tools using APIs.
Qualifications:
Skill Requirements
- Advanced Harness Administration: Deep practical experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Harness (CD & CI) at scale, including pipeline-as-code and template management.
- Enterprise Ansible Automation: Proven expertise writing robust, reusable Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Collections.
- Ansible Administration: Strong experience managing enterprise configurations via Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Ansible Core, including inventory management, execution environments, and RBAC of centralized instances.
- Shared Services Management: Demonstrated track record of delivering, scaling, and maintaining CI/CD and automation tools including Harness and Ansible as centralized services for wide consumption across multiple engineering teams (1000+ developers).
- Platform-as-a-Product Mindset: Experience treating internal tooling as a product, including gathering developer requirements and creating clear documentation.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing Ansible execution environments.
- Security & Compliance: Experience integrating security guardrails into central pipelines, including HashiCorp Vault, role-based access control, and automated compliance scanning.
- API & Integration Skills: Experience extending Harness and Ansible capabilities through integrations with Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub/GitLab, and monitoring tools.
