Job Overview: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant
  • Experience Required: 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience
  • Core Objective: Design, develop, test, and support integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, SCM) and third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Key Responsibilities
1. Integration Design & Development
  • Build App-Driven, Scheduled, and Orchestrated integrations using OIC Gen2.
  • Manage data mappings, transformations, lookups, packages, and payloads (JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL).
  • Utilize OIC adapters including ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, and DB adapters.
  • Implement secure REST/SOAP APIs using OAuth2, basic authentication, and certificates.
2. Support & Error Handling
  • Build fault policies, reusable error frameworks, and notification tracking systems.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support, perform root-cause analysis, and assist with hypercare.
  • Monitor and resolve data, connectivity, and performance bottlenecks.
3. Testing & Deployment
  • Conduct unit testing and support SIT, UAT, and environment migrations (DEV to PROD).
  • Create comprehensive deployment notes and rollback strategies.
4. Documentation & Collaboration
  • Draft HLD/LLD artifacts, Interface Control Documents (ICD), and support runbooks.
  • Partner with functional consultants, VBCS teams, and business stakeholders.
Skill Requirements
Mandatory (Must-Have)
  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience exclusively with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Deep expertise in REST/SOAP web services and data formats (JSON, XML, XSD).
  • Proven experience integrating with Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM).
  • Strong production support, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management skills.
Preferred (Good-to-Have)
  • Experience with Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, MFT) or OCI services.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Autonomous Databases (ATP/ADW).
  • Knowledge of BI Publisher extracts and FBDI integrations.
