| We are seeking an experienced SAP APO PPDS Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP PPDS, strong familiarity with CIF (Core Interface) integration. | |
| Preference will be given to candidates with experience in SAP S/4HANA environments and a solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations. | |
| Key Responsibilities: | |
| Detailed hands-on / Customizing knowledge of SAP PPDS preferably in S/4 Hana. | |
| Experience in Block planning, Setup matrix, Campaign planning, MRP areas, External procurement relationships, Planning heuristics, DS heuristics & Optimizer. | |
| Configure, implement, and support SAP PP/DS solutions, including Heuristics, Optimization, and Detailed Scheduling strategies. | |
| Knowledge and experience of master data distribution of Work centers / Resources, Production versions/PDS, Capacities, Time-streams, CIF-ing between ECC and APO. | |
| Knowledge of working with Process orders/Planned orders, Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Version. | |
| Specifically, MRP, Configurations like Planning board, DS board, Different profiles, PPDS Subcontracting process, Alerts configuration monitoring. | |
| Analyze and optimize planning processes (MTS, MTO), production planning strategies, and scheduling parameters. | |
| Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align PPDS configuration with business requirements. | |
| Assist with or support activities related to SAP Demand Planning (DP) as needed. | |
| Conduct workshops, system testing, user training, and provide post-implementation support during Hypercare. | |
| Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements. | |
| Required Qualifications: | |
| Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP PPDS, including configuration, integration, and support. | |
| Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded PPDS, APO PPDS. | |
| Strong working knowledge of CIF (Core Interface) and its role in master data and transaction data transfer. | |
| Basic understanding or exposure to SAP Demand Planning (DP) processes & BW. | |
| Solid understanding of manufacturing execution, capacity planning, MRP, and supply chain processes. | |
| Proven ability to troubleshoot issues across integrated systems and provide efficient resolutions. | |
| Preferred Skills: | |
| Experience in Process Manufacturing environments. | |
| Familiarity with PP/DS on S/4HANA embedded systems. | |
| Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. | |
| Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. | |
