Job Description:
Core responsibilitiesServer management: Install, configure, and maintain the Tableau Server environment, including performing upgrades and applying patches. Performance and health monitoring: Continuously monitor server health, performance, and usage stats, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability. User and group management: Create and manage users, groups, and sites; assign permissions to ensure data security and compliance. Security: Implement and manage security protocols, including user access and data security policies. Support and training: Provide technical support and training to users to help them effectively use Tableau for their analytical needs. Data source and content management: Manage data sources and content, such as workbooks and extracts, ensuring they are up-to-date and organized. Automation: Automate routine administrative tasks using tools like the Tableau Server REST API, Tabcmd, or Tabadmin.
