- Overall, 10+ years of IT experience with minimum 8+ years of relevant Snowflake Dev. Experience.
- Designing and implementing robust data architectures in Snowflake, considering scalability, performance, and security requirements.
- Designing and implementing data models, including star schemas and other dimensional models, to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, SparkSQL, and other tools for efficient data processing and integration.
- Designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
- Implementing and maintaining data quality checks and validation processes.
- Optimizing Snowflake objects and queries for improved performance and efficiency.
- Implementing and managing security measures, including role-based access control and data encryption.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business analysts, etc.) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Documenting processes, procedures, and technical specifications related to Snowflake development and deployment.
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues related to Snowflake deployments and data pipelines.
- Mentoring and guiding junior developers.
