Detailed job description - Skill Set:
  1. Manufacturing Engineer - CAD

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in UG NX CAD modeling, drafting, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLM Teamcenter, GD&T, and various machining operations. This role involves creating and managing detailed CAD models, developing manufacturing methods, and ensuring the feasibility and quality of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • CAD Modeling and Drafting: Utilize UG NX CAD tools to create detailed 3D models, stage drawings, and assembly drawings for manufacturing components.
  • Method of Manufacture: Develop and document manufacturing methods and processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manufacturing Process Model: Create and manage manufacturing process models to optimize production and reduce costs
  • PLM Teamcenter Integration: Collaborate with the PLM Teamcenter to manage and maintain all design data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information throughout the product lifecycle
  • GD&T Application: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precise and functional designs
  • Drawing Requirements Understanding: Prepare and review technical documentation, including stage drawings, models, and assembly drawings, to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
  • Special Process Management: Identify and manage special processes that require validation and control to ensure product quality
  • Manufacturing Feasibility Assessment: Conduct feasibility assessments to evaluate the practicality and efficiency of proposed manufacturing methods
  • Machining Operations: Understanding of various machining operations, including turning, milling, and drilling, to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • Basic CNC Machining: Understanding CNC machining capabilities and techniques to produce high-precision components
  • Inspection Techniques: Implement and manage inspection techniques to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with UG NX CAD tools in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in UG NX CAD modeling, PLM Teamcenter, GD&T, and various machining operations.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all design and manufacturing activities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
  1. Manufacturing Engineer - General ME
Minimum of Bachelor in Engineering is required in Mechanical, Industrial & Production, Aerospace engineering
Must have general Manufacturing experience in CNC machining, special processes, surface treatments, metrology, GD&T, safety requirements, etc.
Candidate shall be proficient in any 1 from below 3 areas.
o PPAP, FAI, APQP working experience.
o CoS drawings, Tooling experience, stage drawing creation, fixtures design.
o Supplier management experience for parts development
o CAPP ( Computer aided process planning)
Knowledge of Aerospace and/or other industries standards are required.
Good communication & presentation skills are must to deal with global suppliers and stakeholders.
Good to have Tool working experience - NX, Teamcenter only.

Vendor Billing range (share in local currency) 4000 to 5500 Rupees/day
