Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

Oracle Service Cloud (Right Now Developers) – Offshore

• Design, develop, configure, and implement solutions within the Oracle B2C Service Cloud platform, including:
  • Custom Objects & Fields: Creating and managing custom data structures.
  • Workspaces & Workflows: Designing efficient agent interfaces and business process automation.
  • Business Rules: Implementing automated actions and logic.
  • Report & Analytics: Developing custom reports and dashboards.
  • Profile & Permissions: Configuring user roles and access controls.
  • Agent Desktop Customization: Tailoring the agent experience using add-ins (C#, .NET).
  • Customer Portal Customization: Enhancing self-service capabilities using PHP/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle B2C Service Cloud and other systems using various methods such as:
  • Connect Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)

RightNow Integration Cloud Service (ICS) / Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Message Templates and Event Handlers

• Develop custom add-ins for the Oracle Service Cloud Agent Desktop using .NET (C#) to extend functionality and improve agent efficiency.
• Customize and enhance the Customer Portal using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to provide an intuitive and rich self-service experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Oracle B2C Service Cloud platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document technical designs, configurations, and development efforts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle B2C Service Cloud features, releases, and best practices.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers or team members as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for Customer Portal customization.
• Solid understanding of Oracle B2C Service Cloud data model and architecture.
• Extensive experience with Oracle B2C Service Cloud administration, configuration, and customization (Custom Objects, Workspaces, Workflows, Business Rules, Reports, Profiles, etc.).

Proficiency in integrating Oracle B2C Service Cloud with external systems using Connect Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).

• Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and analysis within the platform.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
