We are looking for a skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6+ years' of experience in Automation Testing to enhance our software testing capabilities and ensure the highest quality of our products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing automated testing solutions, as well as a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and test automation strategies.
Required Expertise:
Strong knowledge and practical experience with java - selenium and Katalon Studio is necessary, as it will be a key tool in our automated testing framework alongside other technologies like Selenium and API Testing.
Required Qualifications: BE/BTech in computer science or equivalent from a reputed Intsitute.
Key Responsibilities:
oDesign, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, Rest Assured, Java , Groovy or similar.
oIntegrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to support rapid feedback and development cycles.
oEvaluate and recommend new test automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
oDefine and implement quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
oConduct thorough testing of software applications, identifying defects and collaborating with development teams for resolution.
oPerform code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of automation scripts.
oWork closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure testing aligns with quality objectives.
oAct as a quality advocate within the organization, promoting continuous improvement and best practices.
oProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and other team members.
oDocument test plans, test cases, and test scripts for regression and functional testing.
oAnalyze test results and generate comprehensive reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
oTrack and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
oStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
oExperience with agile methodologies and working within agile teams. |
