Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities)

· Must have 10+ years of experience in embedded systems [ Router/Switch software] programming and Unit test

· Must have knowledge of device drivers

· Candidate must have hands-on embedded system development for Routers, having actually developed code for Router software.

· Must have knowledge of QOS technical area. – working knowledge of one or more of policymaps, classmaps, WRED, RDMA

· Qos experience on router software (Qos experience on Juniper or Arista skill set or Nokia) - must

· The ideal candidate would have worked at Juniper, Arista or previously Cisco, and spent time working with QoS queuing and scheduling with interaction with ASICs.

Mandatory skills*

· Must have good trouble shooting skills

· Must have good verbal and written communication skills

· Must be proficient with using github, co-pilot, Jira etc.

· IOS XR experience is preferred

Desired skills*

· Must have Bachelors or Masters in Engineering degree

· Must have expert level coding skills for C, C++ and python
