Detailed job description - Skill Set:	Understanding of Nutanix Architecture: o Familiarity with Nutanix's hyper-converged infrastructure and its core components, such as Acropolis (AHV) and Prism. Virtualization Expertise: o Experience with virtualization technologies, especially VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV. Storage Management: o Knowledge of storage concepts and management, including storage pools, containers, and data protection. Networking: o Understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, subnets, and network troubleshooting within a Nutanix environment. Operating Systems: o Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting various operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows, within a virtualized environment. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: o Ability to use tools for monitoring system performance and optimizing resource utilization within a Nutanix cluster. Backup and Disaster Recovery: o Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies, particularly those compatible with Nutanix. Scripting and Automation: o Experience with scripting languages (such as PowerShell or Python) for automating tasks and streamlining operations. Problem-Solving Skills: o Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Security Practices: o Understanding of security best practices and their implementation in a Nutanix environment, including data encryption and access controls. Customer Service and Communication: o Strong interpersonal skills for assisting users and communicating complex technical information clearly and effectively. Certification: o Nutanix-specific certifications, such as Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional (NCAP), can be beneficial and demonstrate a validated level of expertise. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Nutanix technologies and related industry trends is also crucial for effectively supporting the platform.
