Senior Technical Writer

Position: Senior Technical Writer – Telecommunications

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer with a strong background in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining a wide range of technical documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for various telecom solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of telecom domain architectures and the ability to produce documentation that is clear, accurate, and concise. Key Responsibilities:

• HLD & LLD Creation: Develop and write comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for telecommunication projects, ensuring all technical specifications and architectural details are accurately captured.
• Architecture Documentation: Produce telecom domain architecture blueprints and other architectural documentation.
• ARB Documentation: Document solutions presented to the Architectural Review Board (ARB), ensuring all required details and justifications are included.
• Technical Writing & Editing: Write, edit, and proofread a variety of technical documents, including user manuals, white papers, case studies, and internal process guides.
• Complex Concept Translation: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and support, to ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Technical Writer in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining HLD and LLD documents for telecom solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in documenting telco domain architecture blueprints.
  • Familiarity with the Telco ARB process and experience preparing documentation for architectural reviews.

Skills & Competencies:

• Deep knowledge of telecommunication technologies and concepts (5G, LTE, core networks, cloud-native functions, BSS/OSS).
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as MS Office Suite, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
