Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reverse Engineering Design Engineer in Mysore/Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in reverse engineering of aerospace components, proficiency in relevant software tools, and a strong foundation in mechanical or aerospace engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Reverse engineering of mechanical and aerospace components using 3D scanning and CAD tools.
- Utilize 3D scanning technology to capture complex geometries and convert scanned data into usable NURBS surfaces and 3D solid models.
- Work with PolyWorks Modeler and Inspector to process point cloud data and generate accurate CAD representations.
- Design and develop tools, test stand fixtures, and jigs necessary for validation and production processes.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings for tooling and fixtures, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
- Use SolidWorks to create high-quality 3D solid models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure the successful realization of designs.
- Support design modifications and documentation of legacy aerospace components for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) applications.
Requirement & Experience needed:
- Proven experience in reverse engineering of aerospace systems or mechanical components.
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D modeling and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with PolyWorks Modeler and Inspector for processing scanned data.
- Familiarity with 3D scanning technologies and converting point cloud/mesh data into NURBS and parametric models.
- Solid understanding of tool and fixture design, including GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturability considerations.
- Prior experience in the aerospace domain, particularly with aircraft systems and components, is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings as per aerospace industry standards
