Expert level understanding of Kafka and its usage as streaming and event-based messaging platform. Experience with confluent Kafka is a plus
Experience with handling Kafka environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring.
Good understanding of managing and maintaining Kafka clusters
Experience with creation of key performance metrics, measuring the utilization, performance, and overall health of the cluster
Strong knowledge of system design and architecture is required
Strong knowledge on different APIs exposed by Kafka to handle the integration, data steaming and for data management
