Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and redesign APO custom developments (/SAPAPO/*) for embedded PP/DS.
• Remediate or retire obsolete function modules, BAPIs, and planning enhancements.
• Adapt or replace CIF-related interfaces as CIF becomes internal in S/4HANA.
• Work with functional teams to align planning logic (heuristics, pegging, optimizer).
• Validate planning results, performance, and data consistency post-migration.
• Support SPDD/SPAU activities and upgrade impact assessments.

Mandatory skills*

• 5+ years ABAP experience, including 2–3 years in APO-ABAP (especially PP/DS).
• Strong knowledge of CIF enhancements, planning books, macros, and planning engine logic.
• Experience in S/4HANA technical upgrades or greenfield embedded PP/DS projects.

Ability to analyze and refactor custom developments for S/4 compatibility
