About The Job:
- The BlackLine Functional Consultant implements and supports BlackLine solutions for financial close automation, account reconciliation, transaction matching, journal entry, and task management.
Essential Job Functions:
- Implement and configure BlackLine modules including Account Reconciliations, Task Management, Transaction Matching, and Journal Entry.
- Gather requirements and design solutions for financial close optimization.
- Configure reconciliation templates, matching rules, and workflows.
- Implement integrations with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Design and build reports and dashboards for close visibility.
- Conduct testing, validation, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide end-user training and change management support.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with BlackLine implementation and configuration.
- Strong understanding of financial close processes and account reconciliation.
- Experience with BlackLine integrations and data loading.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls.
Preferred Qualifications
- BlackLine Certification.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Prior consulting experience in Finance Close / Controllership.
