About The Job:
- Design, implement (and troubleshoot, if any issues occur during the implementation phase) network systems. Ensure smooth implementation of network infrastructure including Cisco routers and switches.
- Assess network needs, select devices, create network diagrams, configure IP addresses, VLANs, routing protocols, and access control lists.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, analyze network traffic, perform packet captures, and resolve implementation issues.
- Experience: 5-18 Years
Essential Job Functions:
- Design and implement network systems.
- Troubleshoot issues occurring during the implementation phase.
- Ensure smooth implementation of network infrastructure including Cisco routers and switches.
- Assess network requirements and select appropriate devices.
- Create network diagrams and implementation plans.
- Configure IP addresses, VLANs, routing protocols, and access control lists.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
- Analyze network traffic and perform packet captures.
- Resolve network implementation and operational issues.
Qualifications:
Skill Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
- Experience: Proven 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, particularly in L2 and L3 support roles.
- Strong understanding of Cisco Routing, Switching, Security, Firewalls, Networking Protocols, Hardware, and Software.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in network management.
