Wynsure Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Wynsure Developer with hands-on experience in eWAM and the Wynsure Insurance Platform to support, enhance, and integrate enterprise insurance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong software development expertise, experience working with Wynsure's data model and APIs, and a solid understanding of insurance business processes. This role involves production support, feature development, system integrations, and collaboration within Agile teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support by performing root cause analysis (RCA) for application issues and implementing both short-term fixes and long-term solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy functional enhancements based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Wynsure and external applications using RESTful APIs and web services.
• Customize and configure Wynsure modules using eWAM framework and best development practices.
• Work with the Wynsure data model, SQL, and relational databases to support application functionality and reporting.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution to ensure application quality.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Maintain source code using Git and manage work items through Jira.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed features, integrations, and support activities.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.

Professional Skills Required

• 3+ years of software development experience with eWAM, including 2+ years of hands-on experience with Wynsure.
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Experience working with the Wynsure Data Model and SQL/Relational Databases.
• Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful Web Services (REST/JSON).
• Good understanding of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of application debugging, troubleshooting, and production support processes.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best coding practices.
