Automation Testing + Salesforce

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce Core applications.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, Apex classes, Lightning components, and integrations.
• Create and maintain reusable automation frameworks to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand business requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and automation documentation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years (AL2) / 7+ years (SAL2) of experience in Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience in testing Salesforce Core applications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, objects, workflows, validation rules, and Lightning Experience.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience in API testing and integration testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform certification.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integrations and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
