About The Job:
- We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in Data Engineering and Test Automation to support a fast-paced engineering team.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium automation, modern engineering practices, source control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development workflows.
- The candidate will work closely with Software Engineers, QA Teams, and Data Engineers to build, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks while ensuring quality, reliability, and performance across applications and data pipelines.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality.
- Develop automation solutions for application and data validation requirements.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution activities.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve automation coverage and software release quality.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
- Maintain test documentation, automation standards, and quality processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ Years
Automation Testing Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Experience in API testing and test automation.
- Strong understanding of Regression Testing and Functional Testing.
- Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
Data Engineering Exposure
- Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Experience working with SQL databases.
- Ability to perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Basic understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
Development & Collaboration Tools
- Git and GitHub.
- Source Control Management practices.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
- Azure DevOps
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Programming Skills
- Python (Preferred) or Java.
- SQL.
- Scripting and automation development expertise.
Modern Engineering Practices

Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as:
- GitHub Copilot
- ChatGPT
- Knowledge of code review processes and version control best practices.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with test-driven and quality-focused engineering practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar Data Engineering platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud environments including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with API automation tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to performance testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in Automation Testing and Engineering.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based delivery environments.
