- Assess on-prem MS SQL Server environments (schemas, dependencies, workloads)
- Rehost (lift & shift)
- Replatform (RDS PostgreSQL)
- Modernize (Aurora PostgreSQL)
- Define cutover strategies (online vs offline migration)
- Identify risks related to network latency, data volume, and downtimeUse AWS services:
- AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) – data replication
- AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) – schema + code conversion
- Schema migration (tables, indexes, constraints)
- Data migration (full load + CDC – Change Data Capture)
- Handle large datasets (TB-scale migrations) efficiently
- Experience:- 6 to 10 Years
