MS Dynamics 365 Consultant / Developer

About The Job:

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Functional Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, along with hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance solutions.
• This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, technical consultants, and end users to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant Dynamics 365 Finance solutions.

Essential Job Functions:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Work closely with clients and business stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
• Analyze business needs and map them to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into functional solution designs.

System Configuration

• Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules based on business requirements.
• Configure and support modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets
  • Cash and Bank Management

Solution Design

• Design functional solutions to meet business objectives.
• Ensure seamless integration between Dynamics 365 Finance modules and related business processes.
• Provide recommendations on best practices and process improvements.

Implementation & Delivery

• Lead or support end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance implementation projects.
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Ensure successful execution and timely delivery of project milestones.

Testing & Documentation

• Develop test scripts and testing scenarios.
• Conduct functional and unit testing.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Create and maintain configuration documents, design documents, and user guides.

User Training & Support

• Provide training to end users and key business stakeholders.
• Support users during deployment and post-implementation phases.
• Assist in issue resolution and continuous system improvement.

System Optimization

• Monitor system performance and process efficiency.
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend optimization strategies.
• Support continuous enhancement initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with project managers, technical consultants, and business users.
• Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into system solutions.
• Maintain strong communication throughout project delivery.

Compliance & Best Practices

• Ensure system configurations adhere to accounting principles, industry standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Apply Dynamics 365 and financial management best practices throughout implementations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ Years Relevant Experience

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Strong knowledge of core Dynamics 365 Finance modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Cash Management
  • Fixed Assets
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance solutions.
• Experience working on full project lifecycle implementations.
• Strong experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business users.

Required Certifications

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Data Migration activities in Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Experience with Reporting and Analytics within Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Experience integrating external systems with Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform including:
  • Power BI
  • Power Apps
• Experience with Power Platform integration to Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting practices and industry standards.
