About The Job:
- We are seeking an Engineer (L2 Support) with 3-5 years of experience to join our technical support team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting application issues, and assisting in maintaining optimal system performance in AWS cloud environments.
- The candidate should also possess knowledge of designing, implementing, and testing cloud computing solutions to migrate applications from Big Data platforms to cloud environments using Snowflake and Snowpark technologies.
Essential Job Functions:
Incident Management & Resolution
- Respond to and resolve L2 support tickets within SLA commitments.
- Investigate production issues and support incident resolution activities.
- Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers or L3 teams with detailed analysis and troubleshooting information.
AWS Cloud Monitoring & Support
- Monitor AWS cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, and related monitoring tools.
- Identify, analyze, and address application and infrastructure performance issues.
- Support setup and maintenance of alerts, dashboards, and monitoring configurations.
Log Analysis & Troubleshooting
- Analyze application logs, system logs, and error traces to identify root causes.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform troubleshooting across web applications, APIs, and microservices.
Application & Production Support
- Provide support for production applications and services.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to resolve technical issues.
- Assist in identifying performance bottlenecks and supporting optimization efforts.
Linux System Administration
- Execute Linux commands and scripts to investigate system behavior.
- Manage processes and perform routine maintenance activities.
- Support troubleshooting of Linux/Unix-based environments.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Create, update, and maintain incident tickets and support documentation.
- Develop runbooks, knowledge articles, and support procedures.
- Provide operational updates, incident summaries, and stakeholder communications.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
- Participate in on-call support rotations for production environments.
- Continuously learn and adopt AWS services, monitoring tools, and support best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 Years
Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in L2 Technical Support, Application Support, or Production Support roles.
- Experience working with cloud migration projects involving Snowflake and Snowpark is preferred.
- Strong exposure to ETL processes and impact analysis.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Snowpark.
- Knowledge of designing, implementing, and testing cloud-based solutions.

Hands-on experience with AWS services including:
- EC2
- S3
- Lambda
- RDS
- CloudWatch

Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
- AWS CloudWatch
- Datadog
- Prometheus
- Grafana

Strong log analysis experience using:
- CloudWatch Logs
- Splunk
- ELK Stack
- Linux/Unix administration including shell scripting and troubleshooting.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, or equivalent ITSM platforms.
- Application troubleshooting experience across APIs, web applications, and microservices.
- Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Basic understanding of networking concepts including:
- DNS
- Load Balancing
- VPC
- Security Groups
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Incident Management best practices.
