BlackLine Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support BlackLine modules based on business requirements.
• Manage and optimize Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including General Ledger (GL), Account Reconciliations, and Journal Entries.
• Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Integrate BlackLine with ERP systems, preferably SAP, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment support.
• Create functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the financial close cycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the BlackLine platform.
• Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Journal Entries
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Good understanding of financial accounting and month-end close processes.
• Experience in BlackLine implementation, configuration, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BlackLine implementation or migration projects.
• Knowledge of finance transformation and process automation initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAP FI/CO or other ERP finance modules.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
