About The Client:

Essential Job Functions:
- As an Azure Cloud Engineer focusing on data analytics and reporting, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform tailored for healthcare applications.
- The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of combined experience in cloud engineering, SQL, and healthcare domain knowledge to support data-driven decision making and regulatory compliance.
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services for healthcare data analytics and reporting solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI analysts, and healthcare domain experts to translate business requirements into scalable cloud-based data solutions.
- Manage and monitor Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) in data storage, processing, and reporting.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud resources following best practices around security, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, database, and query performance issues.
- Support data governance, data quality initiatives, and documentation.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams.
- Azure Cloud Engineering, Data analytics & reporting, SQL
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
- 6 to 9 years of professional experience in Azure cloud engineering, data analytics, or database management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services: Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure Monitor, etc.
- Expertise writing advanced SQL queries, T-SQL programming, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience working in the healthcare domain with understanding of healthcare data standards, compliance (HIPAA), and regulations.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and big data technologies preferred.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) a plus.
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, identity, and access management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work the shift timing of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AZ-303/AZ-304 (Azure Solutions Architect), or DP-200/DP-201 (Data Engineer).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
