Essential Job Functions:
- Lead the design, development, delivery, and scaling of ML, LLM, and agentic AI solutions across enterprise use cases.
- Build and develop robust ML pipelines, workflows, and predictive models with a focus on reproducibility and reliability.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications using APIs, microservices, and containerized environments.
- Drive system architecture decisions to ensure scalable, reliable, cost-efficient, and maintainable AI/ML solutions.
- Develop and optimize ML, deep learning, and computer vision models for industrial applications.
- Build and enhance data pipelines, inference workflows, and model deployment processes.
- Design and implement end-to-end ML workflows, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Apply engineering best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and MLOps.
- Establish reusable AI/ML frameworks, engineering patterns, and development standards to improve scalability and productivity.
- Collaborate with product, platform, MLOps, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
- Perform feasibility assessments, rapid prototyping, and iterative experimentation for AI/ML initiatives.
- Support deployment of AI/ML solutions across cloud and edge environments.
- Ensure data integrity, feature consistency, governance, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI, ML, deep learning, computer vision, LLM, and agentic AI technologies.
Required Skills / Competencies
- 5–12+ years of software engineering, data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML experience (role dependent).
- Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, software engineering, and AI solution development.
- Hands-on experience with traditional ML, supervised/unsupervised learning, and statistical modeling.
- Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience developing computer vision solutions including object detection, image classification, segmentation, and video analytics.
- Knowledge of CNNs, Vision Transformers (ViTs), transfer learning, pruning, quantization, and model optimization.
- Experience with feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation techniques.
- Experience building scalable ML pipelines for batch and real-time inference.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, ML lifecycle management, automated retraining, monitoring, and governance.
- Experience with MLflow, Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, or similar enterprise ML platforms.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps tools.
- Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, OpenCV, and Hugging Face.
- Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of distributed training, scalable inference, and high-performance AI systems.
- Ability to design scalable, reliable, and production-grade AI/ML architectures.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum product teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, version control, and maintainable code development.
