About The Job:
- Java Microservices Developer with expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause of problems.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Proven ability to create innovative solutions.
- Strong agile/scrum development experience.
- Expertise developing web applications and APIs using Micro Services, with demonstrable production-scale experience.
- Web applications development using Java, Microservices & HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, Spring Boot.
- Skilled in Version control tools e.g., GIT, SVN, etc. to maintain common source code the entire process of work flow.
- Writing unit / Integration tests using JUnit / Mockito for code coverage as per the standards and Log4j 2 for logging.
- Expert in database scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers etc.

Technical/Functional Skills
- Languages: Core Java 8.
- Frameworks: Sprint Boot, Micro Services.
- DB: Postgres DB, Cassandra, Oracle.
- DevOps: GITLAB, Jenkins, Maven, Confluence, JIRA.
- Tools: Eclipse, Intellji, STS (Spring Tool Suite), SQL, PL SQL, Postman.
Experience Required
- Must have strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Micro Services, Kafka, Cassandra, REST APIs & Elastic search.
- Must have strong experience in Apache Kafka and Cassandra.
- Strong experience in building microservices using Spring Boot.
- Well versed with design patterns and related frameworks Web applications development using Java, Spring Boot.
- Build real time data pipeline with Apache Kafka, Extract the data from Cassandra and Load it into Redis Cache layer.
- Must have strong experience is code quality tools like Sonar Cube, Black duck scans etc.
