Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between Duck Creek applications and enterprise systems.
• Develop and consume SOAP and REST APIs using Duck Creek integration frameworks.
• Create and maintain WSDLs, XML Schemas (XSD), XML transformations, and JSON payloads.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performing web service integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API, SOAP, and integration-related issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to gather integration requirements.
• Support deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Optimize API performance, reliability, and security.
• Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, and integration documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide production support and perform root cause analysis for integration issues.
Required Skills:
• 4–8+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek integrations.
• Strong experience developing and consuming SOAP and REST web services.
• Strong knowledge of WSDL, XML, XSD, XPath, XSLT, JSON, and web service standards.
• Experience with Duck Creek APIs and integration architecture.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, Basic Authentication, SSL/TLS, and API security.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or similar.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge and SQL query writing skills.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or CI/CD tools.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Duck Creek Policy, Billing, or Claims modules.
• Experience with Duck Creek Author and Duck Creek OnDemand.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud or AWS.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain experience.
