About The Job:
- We're building Eduhive Solutions' content machine—turning raw ideas into polished, engaging reels and YouTube videos that move audiences.
- We need a creative video editor who can take a brief, visualize it instantly, and turn it into something that stops people mid-scroll.
- If you're someone who watches trends before they peak and can conceptualize a full narrative from a single idea, this is the role for you.
- Edit high-energy reels for Instagram, and YouTube Shorts from raw footage, briefs, and creative direction—and own the conceptual decisions that make them work
- Build compelling YouTube video narratives: product demos, testimonials, tutorials, and brand stories from scripting through color grade and final export
- Apply advanced effects in After Effects, Photoshop composites, and DaVinci color work—and know when each tool is the right choice
- Synthesize AI tools (Canva, generative platforms, animation tools) to rapidly prototype ideas and accelerate production timelines
- Take vague creative briefs and turn them into storyboards, treatments, and cut plans—showing your conceptual thinking before you hit render
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, marketing managers, and clients to gather feedback and iterate to their vision
Required
- 1–2 years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio of social media and YouTube content you've edited
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop for composites, effects, and motion graphics
- Hands-on experience with DaVinci Resolve or similar color grading and finishing tools
- Experience with Canva or similar no-code design tools for rapid asset creation
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing and animation tools (e.g., Runway, generative fill, text-to-animation platforms)
- The ability to take a brief and conceptualize the full edit—from cut patterns to effects to music—before production starts
- Quick execution: you can turn around rough cuts fast without sacrificing quality
Preferred
- Experience editing for multiple brands or agencies (exposure to different styles, voiceovers, pacing)
- Curiosity about emerging trends on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube—and ability to spot what's about to go viral
- Experience with motion graphics or kinetic typography
- Comfort with basic audio mixing and sound design in your edits
