Analysts are an integral part of the Investment Banking team at HSBC, providing quantitative and analytical support for mergers, acquisitions, capital raising and other financial advisory services. The analyst position is a generalist position, giving candidates exposure across different products, sectors and client types. Analysts in the India IB team are assigned a variety of projects and have a board range of responsibilities including preparation of financial models and business valuations Creating client marketing presentations Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions Helping with execution of Equity and Debt offerings Our summer analyst program is designed to give interns an experience that is as close to that of a full time analyst as possible. This includes, where possible, working on live client projects. The HSBC investment banking team has led a large number of landmark transactions and many of our past interns have had the opportunity to work on these transactions
