Apigee Developer --Trivandrum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Apigee Developer to design, develop, and manage API solutions using the Apigee API Management platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RESTful API design, security protocols, and the full lifecycle of API development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable API proxies using Google Apigee Edge/X/Hybrid.

• Develop and enforce API best practices and standards.

• Configure and manage policies such as security (OAuth 2.0, JWT), mediation (transformations), and traffic management (rate limiting, caching).

• Integrate Apigee with backend systems including microservices, databases, and cloud services.

• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

• Debug and troubleshoot API issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Monitor API analytics and optimize for performance and reliability.

• Document API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X/Hybrid.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and JSON/XML.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices.

• Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
