Job Description:

• 7 to 12 years of consulting experience

• Understanding of common data concepts e.g., Data Lineage, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Privacy

• Expertise in one or more of the following Data Science, Analytics & AI concepts: Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, MLOps, Analytics operating models, AI development and operationalization, Data & AI Ethics, Data Analysis

• Essential experience working within Financial Services, Capital Markets, Insurance, or Wealth & Asset Management, in data science, analytics and AI related role.

• Experienced working in a multi-client environment that emphasizes collaboration, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure that the financial statements are in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and banking regulations.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • General Ledger Management:
• Manage the bank's general ledger by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Ensure proper recording of transactions related to loans, deposits, investments, and other banking activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Audits:
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing requirements in the banking industry.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information.
• Prepare regulatory filings and reports to meet compliance requirements set by financial authorities.
  • Reconciliation:
• Reconcile bank accounts, financial transactions, and intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Taxation:
• Assist with tax calculations, ensuring accurate tax provision and filings related to corporate taxes, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
• Ensure compliance with banking tax laws and assist in tax audits and reporting.
  • Cost Control and Budgeting:
• Monitor and report on the bank's expenses and financial performance.
• Assist in budgeting processes, providing insights to help manage operational costs and maximize profitability.
