Analyze and assess existing enterprise data models, SSIS EDW schemas, and source system structures.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for assigned business domains.
Identify reusable entities, attributes, relationships, business keys, and reference data.
Perform fit-gap analysis between the existing EDW models and target enterprise data model.
Define and document business entities, relationships, cardinality, hierarchies, and conformed dimensions.
Create and maintain ER diagrams, data dictionaries, metadata, and business glossary documentation.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Lead Data Modelers, Business Analysts, and Data Engineers to align data models with business requirements and target architecture.
Support cross-domain integration by identifying shared entities and enterprise-wide relationships.
Review source-to-target mappings and validate alignment between Bronze, Silver, and Gold data structures.
Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and maintain version-controlled data models.
Ensure adherence to enterprise data modeling standards, naming conventions, and governance guidelines.
Support testing activities by validating data structures, business rules, and model consistency.
Mandatory Skill - Enterprise Data Modeling, Conceptual/Logical/Physical Data Modeling, ERwin/ER Studio (or equivalent), SQL, Relational Database Design, Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema/Snowflake), Data Warehousing, Data Dictionary and Metadata Management.
Preferred Skills - AWS Databricks, Delta Lake, Data Vault, Insurance/P&C domain, Azure DevOps/Jira, Data Governance, Unity Catalog."
