About the Role

Our client is looking for a Proposal Engineer to support the sales and engineering teams by preparing technical proposals, quotations, and customized filtration solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, understand industrial filtration systems, and be capable of interpreting customer requirements into technically sound and commercially viable proposals.

Ideal Candidate

A Mechanical Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in proposal engineering or technical support, possessing strong technical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Industry

Industrial Filtration, Process Equipment, Pharma, Chemical, Water Treatment, or Engineering Products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposals and techno-commercial quotations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable filtration solutions.
• Read engineering drawings and perform filter sizing.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and procurement teams.
• Maintain proposal records, price lists, and product master data.
• Support order processing, product development, and after-sales technical activities.
• Visit customer sites whenever required.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of industrial filtration and pressure vessels.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• ASME calculation knowledge (preferred).
• Good communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office/Excel.
